Brand design & Product Strategy
Get to know Beetha Joy
I’m a Brand Designer and Product Strategist — someone who shapes brands the way architects shape spaces: with intention, emotion, and clarity.
But my journey started far from design.
In banking, I learned structure ,understanding systems, trust, and decision-making.
In digital marketing, I learned story, how audiences respond, engage, and fall in love with the right story.
Branding became the place where both worlds met — logic and imagination, strategy and beauty, message and meaning.
Now my work spans three languages of brand building:
Strategy — where identity begins
Visual — where identity becomes visible
Verbal — where identity learns to speak
Every brand I build aims to feel alive, coherent, and true — from the way it looks, to the way it sounds, to the way it behaves.
I work with innovative teams and founders to build brands that are structured, expressive, and ready to scale — visually, verbally, and strategically.

Meanwhile here are some answers to the FAQ PS. Below the form are 10 FAQs that might be helpful. If there's anything I've missed out, or you have a non-project question, hit me up
What kinds of projects do you take on?
I work primarily with early-stage startups, growing tech companies, and ambitious founders who are building products and brands from the ground up. My focus spans naming, brand strategy, brand identity, product thinking, web design, and visual systems. I especially enjoy collaborating with small, opinionated teams at pivotal moments—where there’s a mix of ambiguity, momentum, and big decisions to be made. Having experience both leading design initiatives and working directly with founders has given me a strong understanding of how startups operate and what they need to move forward. I keep my process agile, communication clear, and overheads lean.
What does your working process look like?
Every project begins with a structured Discovery phase. This includes research, stakeholder conversations, workshops, and collaborative discussions to deeply understand your product, users, business goals, and industry context. For Brand Strategy, insights from discovery are translated into strategic territories that define positioning, narrative, and direction. These are explored through prototypical copy, moodboards, and conceptual frameworks that help us evaluate possible futures and align on a strong brand platform. Once the strategy is set, we move into Brand Identity and Website Design. I explore multiple visual directions using curated references and moodboards, then develop brand elements such as typography, colour, logo, and wordmark into a cohesive system. The selected direction is refined across key brand collateral and digital touchpoints. All outcomes are documented in a comprehensive brand book to ensure clarity and consistency post-launch. This process is flexible and can be adapted based on scope, timelines, and budget, which we align on before starting.
What kinds of projects do you not take on?
I don’t typically take on ongoing brand maintenance that’s better suited to an in-house team or long-term contractor. I’m also not currently seeking full-time roles, as my focus is on building my independent practice.
If you’re unsure whether your project is a good fit, I’m always happy to discuss it.
How long do projects usually take?
Most full-scope projects—spanning strategy through execution—take around 8–12 weeks, depending on complexity and decision-making timelines.
How much do projects typically cost?
For clearly defined deliverables, I quote a fixed project fee. For more embedded or evolving scopes, I offer a monthly rate, invoiced based on actuals.
Brand identity projects typically start at £25K, with larger, more comprehensive engagements ranging up to £40K+, depending on scope, deliverables, and timeline.
If specialist collaborators are required, their fees are scoped and agreed upon separately.
Who will I be working with?
You’ll work directly with me. I lead projects end-to-end—from discovery to delivery—working closely with founding teams and key stakeholders.
When needed, I bring in trusted specialists from my network. You’ll be introduced to everyone involved before the project begins.
How will we work together?
I recommend a core project team of 2–5 stakeholders, with one clear decision-maker. Smaller teams enable faster alignment and bolder decisions.
You can expect collaborative workshops, regular check-ins, presentations, and structured feedback moments. Active participation and timely feedback are key to creating thoughtful, effective work.
What tools will we use?
Figma – design work
FigJam – workshops
Notion – documentation, notes, milestones
Figma comments / Notion / Google Docs – feedback
Zoom / Google Meet – calls
Slack / Telegram – day-to-day communication
If any tools are unfamiliar, I’ll walk you through them during project kick-off.
What is your availability?
I typically book projects 4–8 weeks in advance. If you have specific timelines or launch dates, include them in your brief and I’ll confirm availability shortly after.
Hey there, thanks for your interest in working with me! I’m eager to learn more about your project and how we might be able to work together.
I’ve put together this short inquiry form to hopefully save us both all the back and forth (scheduling, emailing, meetings — you get it). The more information you can share, the better it’ll help me gauge if your project is a mutual fit.
